WHAT IS ACCENT AMBIENT ILLUMINATION?
AAI (ACCENT AMBIENT ILLUMINATION) is a type of LED lighting that emits soft, diffused light to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is typically installed along the edges of walls, ceilings, and floors, often used in combination with other lighting sources to create a layered effect. AAI differs from the other types of lighting in that its objective is adding both aesthetic and supplemental illumination. When used with primary light fixtures, it builds lighting layers that blend accent, ambient and task lighting together.
